Duties will include general animal husbandry- cleaning, feeding and socialising with the animals within a busy rescue environment. Some light administration duties, greeting members of the public and coordinating volunteers. Ideally candidates will be working towards or have already qualified in animal care, although this is not essential. Both experience and confidence with dogs and cats essential, as is a love of animals. The post will be for approx 20 hours per week with ideally the flexibility to cover staff holidays and sick leave. This will be a zero hour contract. Job shares will be considered. Pay in keeping with National Minimum wage. It would be an advantage having your own transport as we are very difficult to access by bus. Applicants must be over 18.
