We have been inundated with bedding since the lockdown has been lifted.
We are always incredibly grateful for all donations, but we really do not have space for any more bedding!
Although we do use towels and some ‘human’ blankets, we really don’t have any use for pillows, duvets or large heavy blankets. The pillows and duvets can be dangerous to dogs (and block our drains when accidentally ripped open!) and heavy blankets, just don’t fit into our washing machine or dry or even store easily. These are best off donated to homeless charities, or if in very good condition, then to charity shops.
Our bins do cost us a lot of money to empty and we don’t have the manpower or time to do regular dump runs.
